The Transportation STNA is responsible for safely helping to transporting residents, patients, or clients to and from appointments, activities, and other designated locations in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting. The STNA ensures that passengers are transported in a timely, safe, and comfortable manner, adhering to all traffic laws and facility policies. The role also includes assisting passengers with mobility needs and ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained and clean.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and Licensed STNA in the state of Ohio.

Experience: Previous experience as a STNA, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting, is preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Ability to operate vehicles equipped with lifts or ramps for passengers with mobility needs.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform routine inspections.
