Job Overview
Illini Inn is seeking Line Cooks to join their team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring every order meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes, and restaurant standards
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and inventory management of ingredients
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
- Uphold quality food service standards by serving dishes promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Previous kitchen experience in the food industry or catering environments is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences
