- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical, machinery, industrial, or equipment assembly.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential design or assembly issues during the build process.
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members across multiple functions.
- Ability to provide and maintain personal hand tools as required.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
- Willingness and flexibility to work overtime when needed to support business demands.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and OSHA-compliant safety standards while performing safety-sensitive manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and lift trucks with capacities up to 10 tons, to safely move materials and equipment throughout the facility.
- Operate overhead cranes with capacities up to 30 tons to support production, assembly, and material-handling activities.
- Assemble, install, and align mechanical components, subassemblies, drive systems, gears, chains, and belts while maintaining precise tolerances and quality standards.
- Support equipment startup, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and rebuild projects to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Identify and communicate equipment, tooling, maintenance, quality, and safety concerns, partnering with supervisors and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Field Service, and Production teams to ensure accurate equipment assembly, on-time project completion, regulatory compliance, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.
