Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with accuracy and flair
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments swiftly and securely
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, counters, and equipment to meet food safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and serving beverages promptly
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met for all food items served
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety
Experience
- Previous barista experience or café background is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for smooth transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Food service experience that highlights reliability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
