Resident Care Assistant – Overnight Shift (Irregular Part-Time)
Assisted Living at Hillview Health Care Campus – La Crosse, WI
Wage starting at 18.51 per hour + shift & weekend differentials
Schedule: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am | Alternating Thurs/Sun, then Fri/Sat | 0–39 hrs per pay period

What You’ll Do
- Support residents with personal care, daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with meals, hygiene, and keeping resident areas tidy and comfortable
- Administer medications according to the “Five Rights” and provide treatments as directed
- Observe, document, and communicate changes in resident condition
- Encourage independence whenever possible
- Maintain resident rights, safety, and confidentiality
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and post-mealtime cleaning
- Participate in recreational activities and community engagement
- Occasionally drive facility vehicles to appointments or events
- Uphold assisted living rules, safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, nurses, and team members
- Provide courteous, respectful service to residents, visitors, and the public
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by helping others
- Ability to work calmly and confidently overnight
- Comfortable with hands-on care, including lifting and mobility support
- Able to follow care plans, document accurately, and communicate clearly
- Experience in RCAC or CBRF settings is a plus
- Listed on Wisconsin CBRF Employee Registry or willing to complete required courses
- Must be 18 years old and pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license required for transporting residents
