We are hiring Montessori Toddler Lead to join our team.
Must have Montessori Toddler Certification.
The Toddler Lead Montessori Teacher will be responsible for guiding toddlers (ages 15 months to 3 years) within a Montessori classroom, ensuring a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that supports their natural curiosity and development. This includes planning and implementing a curriculum designed to foster each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment with age-appropriate and Montessori philosophy-aligned materials and lessons.
- Exhibit professionalism in personal appearance and maintain professional, written, and verbal communication with students, parents, and team members, including but not limited to phone calls, conference reports, observations, and meetings.
- Demonstrate an understanding of child development and adapt the curriculum to meet each child’s needs using a variety of methods.
- Lead the classroom team by delegating responsibilities, establishing and maintaining a structured daily routine, and organizing various classroom events throughout the year.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum for toddlers
- Teacher must be able to assist with toilet training.
- Prepare for and facilitate Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences in both the fall and spring
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
Qualification:
- AMI, AMS, or MACTE certification for the toddler age group required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a lead teacher.
- Current First Aid/CPR certifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with parents, colleagues, and children.
