Qualifications: Must have a four-year degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential group home operations at the supervisory level, or a two-year degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience managing programs/homes for individuals with developmental disabilities and supervising employees may be considered for a candidate with 10+ years of experience.
Must have experience training employees in Licensed settings ( modeling and promoting Active Treatment). Must have good time management, advocacy, and communictation skills. Must have the ability to work with a variety of people in a professional manner. This position is well-suited for someone who is detail oriented and thinks strategically. Must constructively and objectively analyze situations and problem-solve with a "win-win" mindset. Must understand the importance of applying company policies consistently and handling personnel issues in a confidential manner.
- This is a salaried position at 40 hours a week with potential for on-call responnsibilities and after- hour phone calls. Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of services in St. Joe County. Communicates frequently with the Executive Director about all operations and seeks guidance as needed. Ensure all persons served are treated with dignity and respect: ensure their well-being, health, and recipient rights. Ensure compliance with all standards and regulations in order to maintain licensing, funding, and accreditations. Act as a liaison to outside agencies. Treat all Adapt stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure the appropriate Adapt employees are present at Person-Centered Planning, other team, and placement meetings. Work with CMH personnel on invitations to meetings and input from Adapt employees. Ensure all Corporate Compliance-related tasks are completed for St. Joe County and coordinate with the Corporate Compliance Officer to ensure Compliance matters are successfully resolved and executed, including audits. Plan and supervise daily operations of Residential and Day services. Assist with the operation of the In-Home Supports as designated by the Executive Director. This is a partial job description.
