Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring and safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during renovation or new build projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Experience
- Valid license as a professional electrician with proven experience in industrial and commercial settings.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites involving framing carpentry, renovation projects, or general construction activities.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and high voltage power distribution.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers along with power tools required for electrical work.
- Previous handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
