Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Implement sales management techniques including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives.
- Supervise shift management, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cashiering duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a background in supervising teams and managing retail sales operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and operational management.
- Knowledge of POS systems, purchasing procedures, merchandising techniques, and store management best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a positive work environment.
