Nighty Nite Nannies is a locally owned Las Vegas agency dedicated to providing exceptional overnight newborn care and giving families the gift of sleep. We partner with parents during one of life's biggest transitions by providing compassionate, dependable, and highly qualified caregivers.
We are currently seeking experienced Night Nannies who are passionate about caring for newborns and supporting families with confidence, kindness, and professionalism.
Position Summary
As a Night Nanny, you will provide overnight care for newborns and young infants in the family's home. Your role is to ensure babies are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while allowing parents to get the restorative sleep they need.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive overnight care for newborns and infants.
- Feed, burp, diaper, soothe, swaddle, and safely settle babies back to sleep.
- Follow each family's care preferences and routines.
- Maintain feeding, diapering, and sleep logs when requested.
- Wash bottles, pump parts, and perform light baby-related housekeeping.
- Keep the nursery clean, organized, and stocked.
- Communicate professionally with families and the agency.
- Always follow safe sleep practices and infant safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of paid, hands-on professional newborn care experience (night nanny, infant nanny, newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, NICU, nursery, or similar).
- Current Infant & Child CPR Certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent professional references.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Employment Requirements

- Pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- Successfully complete fingerprinting.
- Have no criminal history that would disqualify them from working with children.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
- Be dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) certification.
- Postpartum Doula certification.
- Experience caring for twins, multiples, premature infants, or medically fragile newborns.
- Personal parenting experience is valued, but not required.
- Flexible overnight availability, including occasional weekends.
