Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic person, able to inspire and lead our retail team. This person will oversee daily store operations, drive sales, ensure great customer service, and manage all aspects of boutique management with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Lead, encourage, and motivate the retail team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Manage employee orientation, training & development initiatives to foster a high-performing team.
- Conduct interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Optimize stock levels and product presentation.
- Supervise cash handling, cashiering with accuracy.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the boutique’s offerings and enhance customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, store standards, and store cleanliness.
- Utilize grace and communication skills to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage shift schedules, supervise staff performance, and support department managers in daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail sales or boutique environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and to motivate the team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development programs.
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and retail math principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in stock control and store presentation.
- Previous experience in assistant manager roles or shift management is desired.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
