Job Overview
The National Music & Global Culture Society (NMGCS) is seeking professional pianists with teaching experience to join the Founding Faculty of the ONE CHILD Scholarship Program. This paid, part-time position involves providing one-on-one piano lessons to elementary school students at P.S. 55 Benjamin Franklin School in the Bronx on Saturdays during the 2026–2027 school year. - Professional pianist with teaching experience

Duties
- Provide individual piano lessons to elementary school students.
- Prepare students for steady musical and personal growth.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with the Program Director regarding student progress and attendance.
- Arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance.
- Participate in occasional program meetings or events, as needed.
- Experience
- Proven experience teaching piano to children
- Strong background in coaching, tutoring, or classroom management within music education settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels and learning needs
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with parents or guardians
- Prior classroom experience that highlights organizational skills and lesson planning capabilities

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
