Job description:
BrightStar Care of Pinellas is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented LPN/RN Clinical Coordinator for our busy and growing pediatric/nursing department. This is a full-time office position, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities/Job Functions
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to develop and maintain schedules for clients.
- Expedite, track, document, and complete patient referrals promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to and return calls from patients’ families and case managers in a timely manner to ensure effective communication.
- Accurately document all activities related to nurses and clients for proper recordkeeping and compliance.
- Oversight of skilled nursing coordination.
- Oversee and manage skilled visit assignments and follow-up to maintain quality care delivery.
- Manage quality assurance (QA) processes to support continuous improvement and compliance with standards.
- Conduct weekly chart audits to monitor documentation and ensure adherence to policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Director of Nursing, or Assistant Director of Nursing.
Qualifications
- Passion for helping pediatric clients and their families.
- An outgoing personality with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated compassion, understanding, and empathy in patient care.
- Valid LPN/RN License required.
- AHCA Level 2 background screening clearance. https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Experience reviewing nursing notes for accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare-related field.
- Prior relevant experience is preferred.
- Dog lover a plus!

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
