Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to answer questions confidently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately.
