As a Key Holder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, supervising daily operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and team members. Responsibilities
- Open and close the store confidently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Supervise daily store operations, including merchandising, stocking, and product demos
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Assist in retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash and credit payments with accuracy
- Support upselling efforts to promote products and increase sales performance
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
- Train and supervise team members on product knowledge, POS usage, and customer service best practices
- Ensure adherence to phone etiquette and communication protocols when interacting with customers and team members
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, ideally within grocery or specialty stores
- Supervising or leadership experience in a retail setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual environments (if applicable)
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced environments
