About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EDPNA with substantial hearing experience to represent Americans applying for Social Security Disability benefits. You will own all aspects of representation before the Social Security Administration — from the initial application through Appeals Council review.
This is a high-volume hearings role. The ideal candidate is adept at handling 20+ hearings per month while also preparing and filing Appeals Council briefs.
What You’ll Do
- Represent claimants at ALJ hearings, sustaining a caseload of 20+ hearings per month
- Analyze medical records and develop clear, evidence-backed case theories
- Prepare appeals with supportive written summaries and evidence
- Draft and file Appeals Council briefs
- Evaluate unfavorable decisions and determine viability for appeal
- Support claimants at every stage, from initial application through Appeals Council representation
- Work alongside Jake, our AI case orchestrator, to streamline case preparation and client communication
Qualifications
- REQUIRED — an active and valid EDPNA (Eligible for Direct Pay Non-Attorney) designation
- Demonstrated hearing experience, with the capacity to handle 20+ hearings per month
- Experience filing Appeals Council briefs
- Two or more years of experience representing clients seeking Social Security benefits
- Experience spanning the full claim lifecycle — initial application through Appeals Council — is required
- Excellent written, verbal, and human relations skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay of $60,000–$75,000, plus commission
