Healthcare Revenue Consultants LLC is a boutique revenue cycle management firm based in Atlanta, GA. Founded in 2001, we specialize in OB/GYN, orthopedic surgery, and pain management billing. We are a fully remote, credentialed team committed to maximizing reimbursement for our physician practice clients across the United States.
What we need — no exceptions:
- Medical billing and/or coding experience — required
- OB/GYN billing experience — required, no exceptions
- Hands-on experience with NextGen Office formerly HealthFusion
- Full-time availability with reliable internet
- Strong knowledge of billing compliance standards
- Experience billing global OB packages, deliveries, and high-risk pregnancies
- GYN surgical billing depth — laparoscopic procedures, hysterectomies, ablations
- Familiarity with multi-payer environments and Medicaid billing rules
What you will do
- Submit and manage OB/GYN insurance claims in NextGen Office
- Perform AR follow-up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims
- Work denial queues — identify root causes, correct, and resubmit or appeal
- Post payments and reconcile EOBs and ERAs accurately
- Submit claims within 48 hours and manage timely filing deadlines
- Handle secondary claim submissions and coordinate benefits
- Communicate with insurance payers during standard business hours
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all daily activities
