What you’ll do:
- Assisting attorneys in managing high-volume caseload of recovery matters, including tracking case progress, deadlines, and court dates
- Document review and analysis to identify relevant facts and legal issues
- Review, organize, and summarize various types records and other case-related documents
- All aspects of Judicial and Non-Judicial foreclosures for Missouri and Kansas, from intake through sale completion
- Post foreclosure actions such as evictions, interpleaders and deficiency suits
- Drafting of demand letters and debt validation notices
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely
- Effectuating and overseeing service of legal process
- Discovery, as applicable
- Post judgment enforcement to include skip tracing, asset searches, garnishments, liens, and other enforcement actions
- Ensure all collection activities comply with federal, state, and local laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- General litigation support
- Prepare exhibits and other materials for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Work with CaseAware software
You should have:
- 4 Year Degree in Legal Studies or 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree with a Paralegal Certificate
- Knowledge of legal principles and practices at a level normally acquired through formal paralegal training
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
- Ability to review, organize, analyze, and summarize facts and documents
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Products
- Proficient in document management and case management software
- Ability to travel to private and public buildings, locally or nationwide, via private or public transportation to assist attorney in representing clients

- Salary range starting at $60,000 commensurate with experience.
