Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an OR Circulator position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and a AZ or compact RN license.

Work in the Operating Room of a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
Facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
Handles 10 to 25 cases per day including total joints (knees & hips with MAKO robotics), spine, ortho and neuro, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics
Majority of cases are total hip, knee, and shoulder along with neuro and ortho spine procedures
Uses XI DaVinci robotic equipment
Uses Meditech EHR system
Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
36 guaranteed weekly hours
Every other weekend required
Weekend coverage supported by a call team consisting of a RN, CSTFA, and CST
Call requirements vary based on staffing levels, typically a few days per month
May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Serve as OR Circulator supporting a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neuro, and robotic-assisted procedures
Weekend call may include urgent cases such as XLIF procedures or total hip replacements for fracture patients
Weekly orientation available
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation, local dining, and scenic mountain and lake views
Within driving distance of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
