American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in San Antonio, TX, requiring at least 1 year of emergency department experience and TNCC certification.

Emergency Department (ED) setting at a specialty and transplant hospital in San Antonio, TX

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (1900–0700)

13-week contract duration

Active TX RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required

Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale

No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
