US Water Filters (USWF) is a family-owned, Zumbrota, MN based business looking for the next team member who shares our core values and vision. USWF is a leader in providing high quality, innovative water and air filter solutions for the retail and commercial markets.
We are seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team to perform warehouse duties which include, but are not limited, to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and other duties as assigned. Hours will be Monday from 7:30 to 4:30 and one to three afternoons plus additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack product for shipment to customers based on company standards
- Receive and place incoming product in the correct location within the warehouse
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Report any damage or issues to management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Warehouse experience is not required but is a plus
Required Skill Set:
- Must be detail-oriented, accurate and hard-working
- Must be able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Must be able to perform tasks in the area assigned to your responsibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs infrequently
- Must be able to stand and walk up to ten hours per day
- Must be able to handle frequent bending, twisting, lifting and walking at a brisk pace
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to tolerate temperature variations in the warehouse
Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and comply with safety instructions
- Must be able to receive feedback both positive and constructive
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have at least basic computer skills
- A passion to meet or exceed goals and objectives
- A passion for continuous improvement
- Flexibility in working tasks and hours, including the willingness to work overtime when and if needed
