About Us:
Spek Diagnostics is an independent provider of anatomic pathology laboratory services based in the Boise area, with clientele throughout Idaho and surrounding states. We work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to process and interpret clinical specimens such as biopsies and surgical excisions and report these results back to the clinician in a timely manner to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of disease. Spek Diagnostics consistently strives to improve the health outcomes of those we serve through our commitment to our patients, our community, and our craft. By providing prompt, accurate, and actionable results to our providers, we are a dependable partner who actively contributes to the well-being of the world around us.
Overview
As a courier with Spek Diagnostics, you will serve as a liaison between the company and our clients by handling daily route operations, including face-to-face contact with medical office staff. You will also perform company errands, assist with fleet maintenance and grounds care, and assist with the specimen recording process.
Hours and Location
This part-time route, based in Pocatello, operates Monday through Friday and typically takes about one hour to complete. Timeliness is essential, as the route needs to be completed around the same time each day. Currently, the route is expected to start at approximately 3:30 PM and finish around 4:30 PM, though daily variations may occur depending on the specific pickup locations and factors such as traffic or weather conditions.
