As the General Manager, you are the driving force behind the success of your store. Your leadership directly influences every aspect of the business—from the experience each customer receives to the performance, engagement, and development of your team. You are responsible for creating an environment where employees are motivated, customers are confident in our service, and the business consistently achieves its goals.
In this role, you will set the standard for excellence by fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture. You will lead by example, inspire your team to deliver exceptional results, and ensure every department operates efficiently and profitably. Your ability to coach, develop, and empower Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff will play a critical role in building a team that is committed to continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.
As General Manager, you are responsible for:
- Building and maintaining a strong team culture rooted in accountability, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring every guest receives honest recommendations, transparent communication, and outstanding service.
- Driving shop performance through operational efficiency, productivity, quality control, and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Growing sales and profitability by maximizing opportunities, improving customer retention, monitoring financial performance, and making data-driven decisions.
- Developing future leaders by coaching, mentoring, recognizing achievements, and creating career growth opportunities for your team.
- Maintaining operational excellence by ensuring company processes, safety standards, policies, and best practices are consistently followed.
- Creating a workplace where employees enjoy coming to work, feel supported, and are empowered to succeed both personally and professionally.
LEAD DAILY OPERATIONS
- Run a clean, professional, high-performing repair shop
- Oversee workflow, repair orders, inspections, and vehicle progress
- Ensure efficient production and strong communication throughout the day
- Maintain shop organization, inventory, tools, equipment, and facility standards
- Monitor KPIs, labor performance, payroll, discounts, warranties, and expenses
- Ensure Tekmetric accuracy and operational consistency
DRIVE SALES & PERFORMANCE
You’ll own the numbers and lead the team toward success.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- 3 years of Automotive repair shop leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of shop operations and workflow
- Experience managing KPIs and profitability
- Knowledge of estimates, inspections, labor operations, and customer communication
- Experience with Tekmetric or similar shop management systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
