Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-12 students during the 2026-2027 academic year. In this engaging contract position, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, conducting assessments and providing targeted therapy to foster communication growth. The role encourages collaboration with educators and families, all while supporting students’ educational journeys.
Key Duties:
- Administer thorough speech and language evaluations for students and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s communication needs
- Partner with teachers and staff to facilitate appropriate classroom accommodations
- Track student progress, documenting outcomes and refining interventions as needed
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and assist in establishing student goals
- Share resources and strategies with parents and caregivers to maximize student support
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possesses current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Brings experience working with school-age children (preferred)
- Demonstrates clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Is knowledgeable about IEP documentation and special education requirements
- Open to working with clinical fellows (CFY) or bringing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) status
