Description: To coordinate the district budget development and monitoring process, oversee budget accounting and compliance monitoring and leads integration of program goals into district strategic planning. This role serves as the district's expert in federal program requirements and consolidated application processes.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
2. Extensive knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles, spreadsheet programs and accounting software, federal program regulations and compliance requirements.
3. Minimum of five years of experience in governmental finance and/or budget analysis, auditing, or a related field required.
4. Experience with federal grant programs and educational strategic planning preferred.
5. Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to lead cross- functional teams.
6. Alternative qualifications as the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
