American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift block schedule position at a multi-campus critical access hospital system.

Acute care setting within a critical access hospital system spanning four campuses (Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras)
-
Patient population includes adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patients; NICU and pediatric critical care experience highly preferred
-
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:30

Block schedule
-
Weekend coverage required at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need

Floating required across all four campus locations within scope of practice

On-call is voluntary, not required

Epic EMR experience required

Current RRT credential required
-
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings

Proficiency in adult critical care and emergency department settings required; NICU and pediatric critical care experience highly preferred

Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration

Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

License required if applicable

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Provide respiratory therapy services across acute, trauma, ED, and critical care units

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; maximum of 7 days of RTO permitted during the assignment

Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
