Job Title: Automotive Service Technician (Honda Certified)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Honda Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles in accordance with Honda factory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for automotive excellence, and a commitment to providing top-tier service to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Perform electronic, mechanical, and safety diagnostics on Honda vehicles to accurately identify issues. Repair and replace worn or faulty parts (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems).
- Routine Maintenance: Complete standard maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, fluid flushes, and brake service.
- Quality Assurance: Road-test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure all issues are resolved and the vehicle meets factory safety standards.
- Documentation: Clearly document all work performed, diagnostic findings, and recommended future repairs on the repair order (RO).
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay. Adhere strictly to dealership policies, local/state regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing Honda factory training and certification programs to stay up-to-date on latest vehicle technologies, recalls, and repair techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an automotive service technician (experience at a Honda or Acura dealership is highly preferred).
- Certifications: * ASE Certifications are a strong plus.
- Current Honda Factory Training/Certifications preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and digital repair manuals.
- Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a personal inventory of standard automotive tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
