- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
- Clean carpets and upholstery using specialized equipment like carpet cleaners to enhance the appearance and longevity of furnishings.
- Maintain proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury and ensure safety.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as sweeping porches, cleaning patios, and maintaining outdoor areas as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred; janitorial or custodial experience is also valuable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and the use of various cleaning equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and proper handling of cleaning supplies ensures safe and effective service delivery.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
