Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher for 4-year-old children to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills tailored for 4-year-olds
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
- Use classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote respectful interactions among children
- Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns
- Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education practices when necessary to support diverse learning needs
- Lead activities that promote physical movement, creativity, and social-emotional growth in line with childhood development standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting with classroom experience in early childhood education
- Knowledge of child development instruction principles, behavior management, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for preschool-aged children
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, staff, and children
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young learners is a plus
- Ability to work with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable
- A background in childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, and child welfare practices

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
