Position: Team Manager
Location: Fargo, ND
Reports to: ND Hotels, Inc is looking for a Team Manager to oversee the daily operations of a team of baristas. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks with attention to detail and discretion, as well as prioritize and organize work according to time and space constraints. This position requires a keen eye for detail and sound decision-making skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the barista staff, including training, scheduling, inventory, and food quality control.
- Manage cash handling procedures with the help of an operations manager.
- Coordinate food orders with chefs, ensuring that all ingredients are prepared according to customer specifications and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of food and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records of payroll, verifying hours worked, assigning tasks, and monitoring the restaurant’s performance.
- Work with the owner on special projects such as promotional initiatives or improving service standards.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Hands-on experience in managing staff and leading them through tasks.
- Knowledge of restaurant management systems and how they impact productivity and team performance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
