Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders in home or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health interventions in a compassionate manner
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in special education or behavioral therapy is highly preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in growth within the field

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
