Steller Concrete Overview:
We are a commercial concrete contractor with 80+ employees specializing in large-scale concrete projects, including foundations, tilt-up panels, slabs, and structural concrete. With a strong track record of delivering high-quality work on schedule, we are expanding our leadership team to support continued growth.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects at a time starting with estimating, pre-construction and planning all the way through project closeout. This role requires competent blue print reading, an overall understanding of schedule, abillty to multitask, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain correct project information (plans, specifications, etc.)
· Coordinate material pricing and delivery with field personnel.
· Track drawing updates and RFI's. Write change order requests as needed.
· Develop and manage budgets throughout life of project.
· Communicate schedule expectations internally and with customer
· Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to ensure quality and productivity.
· Coordination with clients
· Solicit quotes and coordinate buyout of material and subcontractors.
· Communicate expectations with customers and field personnel
· Ensure accurate monthly billings using AIA documents.
· Help monitor safety compliance to promote a strong safety culture.
· Resolve issues that arise in the field quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2+ years in a project management role
· Strong knowledge of concrete work, including foundations, walls, slabs, and tilt-up.
· Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Comfortable in decision making and accountability
· Able to work as a team and individually
