Botiwalla is inspired by the tea and kabab houses—known as Irani cafés—of Chef Meherwan Irani’s childhood, as well as the grills (sigris) that appear on the streets of India late at night, serving grilled meats and flatbreads to hungry crowds.

Position Summary
The Back of House Team Member is responsible for preparing and executing food according to company standards while maintaining cleanliness, organization, food safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role works closely with fellow kitchen team members and Front of House staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

Complete opening, service, and closing duties using role-specific checklists

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

Maintain consistency in food presentation and portioning

Set up, stock, and organize workstations throughout service
-
Ensure food is prepared and delivered in a timely manner

Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Label, date, rotate, and properly store food products
-
Monitor product quality and communicate inventory needs
-
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift

Wash dishes and support overall kitchen cleanliness as needed
-
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries

Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service

Support teammates and assist in all areas of kitchen operations as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned
