Job Title: RN PACU
Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Peoria, IL 61636
Duration: 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.
Shift Time: 3x12 Days 8am-830pm (36 hrs/weekly)
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of RN PACU experience.
- BLS
- ACLS
Certifications & Licenses:
- RN IL State License Required..
- AHA-BLS and ACLS Required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pain and administer prescribed medications.
- Monitor oxygen therapy and maintain airway patency.
- Identify and respond to post-operative complications.
- Assess surgical sites, dressings, drains, and bleeding.
- Monitor IV fluids, medications, and infusion pumps.
