Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Home Care (PRN)

Elite Premier Nursing Services is seeking an experienced and resilient Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one in-home care for high-acuity patients, including post-operative (post-op) cases and patients with complex behavioral health needs. This role also includes skilled nursing services such as IV infusions, start-of-care visits, and wound care.
This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule, ideal for nurses who are clinically strong, adaptable, and confident working independently in the home setting.

Environment: Must be comfortable working in homes with pets (including cats) and possible smoking households
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans
Provide care for post-operative patients, including monitoring recovery and preventing complications
Perform Start of Care (SOC) and Resumption of Care (ROC) visits as assigned
Administer IV infusions, medications, and prescribed treatments
Perform wound assessments, wound care, and dressing changes
Monitor patient condition, behavior, and overall clinical status
Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques when needed
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, patients, and families
Maintain professional boundaries in high-acuity and unpredictable environments
Active Florida RN or LPN license
Experience with post-op care, high-acuity patients, and/or behavioral health cases
Experience with IV therapy, wound care, and SOC documentation preferred
Strong crisis management, observation, and communication skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in challenging situations
