Job Duties : Design, architect, develop, enhance and maintain software programs that the company markets, sells and supports. Recruit, manage, mentor and train a team of junior software developers. Assign day-to-day tasks and monitor and report progress. Assist with gathering user requirements and do market research to design and architect new modules. Design and implement enhancements to existing modules with new features. Fix bug and provide general maintenance of existing program modules. Additional duties include interacting with customers to resolve implementation issues and write and review product documentation.
Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering + 10 years of full time work experience in software development field. Experience must include: 1) software development life-cycle (SDLC) including builds, profiling, functional and load testing via Java and C++; 2) infrastructure monitoring and management technologies such as SNMP, IPMI and SMART; 3) Work experience with NoSQL systems (Cassandra, Couchbase) and Big Data technology (Hadoop, Spark, Storm)
