Position Summary:
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities and expand our client portfolio. This role focuses on the early stages of the sales process, including identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and qualifying leads before handing them off to the sales team.This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Commercial Manager.This position is fully remote but requires availability during Peruvian time zones to ensure effective collaboration with the team.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Identify and research potential clients across East and/or West Coast (US Market).
- Reach out to prospects through calls, emails, and professional networks
- Present the company’s capabilities, product range, and production strengths
- Qualify leads based on needs, budget, and fit with our manufacturing capabilities
- Schedule meetings for the commercial team and support initial negotiations
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to nurture relationships and drive engagement
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify apparel brands, retailers, distributors, and wholesalers requiring textile manufacturing services
- Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities
Lead Generation & Qualification
- Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads
- Evaluate client potential based on production needs, volumes, and strategic fit
Client Engagement
- Initiate contact via multiple communication channels
- Effectively communicate the company’s vertical capabilities, certifications, and value proposition
Opportunity Management
- Coordinate meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to the commercial team
- Support early-stage negotiations when applicable
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Ensure continuous follow-up and engagement
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Existing client portfolio is a plus

Pay: $50,091.33 - $60,325.04 per year
