Job Description
Bionic is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, mechanically inclined candidate to join our growing team delivering orthotic solutions. The Medical Assistant would be educated on being an Orthotic Fitter, who would be specifically trained and qualified to participate in the fitting and delivery of prefabricated orthotic devices and/or soft goods related to a patient's needs. We are looking to fill this position for our clinic in Madison, WI. We provide 100% training for this position!
This is a full-time position with office hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5PM. We will consider entry-level candidates willing to train and learn. We offer on the job training, sick/vacation time, health benefits, paid holidays, and 401 K!
Job Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Clinician by assisting and fitting orthotic medical devices.
- Build referral relationships and overall community awareness by networking with medical professionals.
- See patients in multiple settings.
- Obtain required medical documentation from referral sources for insurance compliance.
- Follow instructions by responding to management direction.
- Responsible and motivated individual.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in the medical field.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- One year of clinical experience in an allied health profession is preferred.
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills. Bionic will provide training for the ideal candidate.
- PTA, Athletic Trainer or Cast Technician is a plus.
