Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Lab Technician to join our team for our 2nd shift working Monday - Thursday 3;00 pm - 3:00 am. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting quality laboratory operations by conducting CMM checks following adjustments, make rounds, pick up parts, take reports out to production. Monitor inspection processes in production (non-CMM), assist in shift-to-shift communication of quality issues, launch containment, as needed. 30-130 pc repetitive measurements (capability inspections), part layouts, calibration and other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to write and execute a CMM layout
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Ability to use all standard measurement tools used by a machinist
- 2 years work experience, trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship required
- Blueprint and calibration experience is a plus
