At Jackie Rey's, we believe great food starts with great people. We're seeking a passionate, hands-on Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team, uphold our culinary standards, and help deliver memorable dining experiences to our guests and local community.
What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire the culinary team through mentorship and daily coaching
- Execute and maintain Jackie Rey's food quality and presentation standards
- Manage kitchen operations, including prep, service, and sanitation
- Develop and train team members while fostering a positive culture
- Control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations
- Collaborate on menu development, seasonal features, and special events
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Work closely with front-of-house leadership to create exceptional guest experiences
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Proven experience managing kitchen teams and developing talent
- Strong understanding of food costing, inventory management, and labor control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary degree preferred but not required. Equivalent experience is highly valued.
