Duties
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including bagels, pastries, and other treats, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Package baked items carefully to maintain freshness and presentation quality
- Support food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift
- Contribute to high-volume production tasks during busy hours while adhering to recipe specifications
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with purchases
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management and proper handling techniques
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high-volume production demands
- Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant setting is advantageous
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
