with experience in microfluidics. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of solving customer-
focused problems and be results-oriented, and a practical problem solver with experience in

As a Sr. Lead Microfluidic Engineer you will be responsible for:
Leading engineering programs for product development through the complete program
cycle, including:
o Support sales by planning engineering efforts and writing engineering proposals.
This includes interacting with customers to understand requirements and suggest an
effective development path.
o Concept generation based requirements, leveraging expertise in microfluidics and
assay implementation.
o Plan and managing program activities, including overseeing device design and
experimental characterization.
o Document project results and outcomes. Leverage ISO13485, PMP and FDA
requirements to enhance our deliverable to customers on engineering programs.
o Manage engineering programs, including budget and timeline.
o Ensure consistent and accurate record keeping and regular reporting to customers
and internally.
o Generate concepts, with understanding of fabrication and assembly processes that
effectively meets functional requirements with attention to scale for manufacture.
o Plan and oversee device characterization, including design of experiments and
reporting.
Support internal R&D programs for process and product development:
o Manage R&D programs (planning, execution and reporting), with the goal to develop
new capabilities, processes and products.
o Identify opportunities for patent applications and publication of the results.
o Write technical articles to support ALine’s marketing efforts and participate in
scientific conferences to present posters or oral presentations.
