Qualifications
-
Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary Practical Nurse License
-
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
-
Strong communication and documentation skills
-
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Essential Job Duties
-
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely
-
Complete electronic documentation, assessments, and resident charting
-
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to physicians and responsible parties
-
Order medications through the pharmacy as needed
-
Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
-
Perform wound care according to physician orders and facility protocols
-
Collect and process laboratory specimens
-
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident care

Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
