Job Summary
Miami Cerebral Palsy Residential Services (MCP) an affiliate of United Community Options, formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida, was opened in 1984 by UCP of Miami to provide comprehensive residential, medical and rehabilitation services in Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). MCP provides safe and supportive nurturing homes in Miami-Dade County where individuals receive the care and attention they need to thrive and achieve their highest potential.
Miami Cerebral Palsy Residential is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian and Licensed in the State of Florida to join our team . In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional care, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. You will also collaborate effectively with nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and optimize nutritional support.
This is a full-time role but we are willing to consider contract basis.
Qualifications
- Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in working with the multiply developmentally disabled.
- Minimum of 2 years working in an active care setting (i.e., intermediate care facility, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related facility).
- Ability to perform patient assessments efficiently while maintaining compassionate communication tailored to individual needs.
- Use of personal outcomes to deliver a Person-Centered Approach to service delivery.

Pay: $71,760.00 - $75,000.00 per year
