Mercy Health Lima, Ohio - Acute Nurse Practitioner or PA for Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine
Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Pulmonary in Lima, Ohio is seeking an acute nurse practitioner to join our busy practice. We offer a competitive income & benefit package.
Position Highlights:
- Evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient setting.
- Take night and weekend call.
- Weekend inpatient hospital rounding treating current Pulmonary patients & new consults 1:5, 1 holiday/year.
- Night call 4:30 PM to 8 AM the next morning.
- Respond to patient calls
- Complete in-basket
- Manage patient results and prescribe medications.
- Travel to satellite location and provide patient care.
- Adult and Geriatric
- Work with Medical Students and Residents
- Strong physician and peer collaboration
- Clinical schedule: M-R 8AM-4PM, Friday 8A to noon.
- Education and Skills Required:
- Acute trained nurse practitioner or certified physician assistant.
- Current licensure with the state of Ohio
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
