Big Dreams Transport is seeking motivated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and be capable of operating different types of trucks, including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and tankers. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Duties
- Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license class A (CDL) with a clean 10 year driving record.
- Driving experience in all weather conditions.
- Doubles Endorsement, Hazmat, TWIC Card.
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as necessary.
