We are looking to add an experienced Chief Engineer to our wonderful staff here at the Tru by Hilton Albany Airport!
The ideal candidate will have prior engineering and maintenance experience within the hospitality industry, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proven track record of success.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plans, schedules, and performs preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoots and completes repairs involving guest rooms, hotel equipment, and building systems.
- Establishes and maintains a library of manuals for on-site machinery and equipment.
- Provides technical assistance to hotel staff regarding troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Manages requisitions for necessary parts, components, supplies, and equipment.
- Provides technical quality control.
- Arranges all required regulatory inspections.
- Applies knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Maintains accurate maintenance, inspection, and equipment records.
- Ensures compliance with Hilton brand standards and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Responds promptly to guest room and operational maintenance concerns.
- Communicates and coordinates with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
- Maintains the overall condition, functionality, and safety of the property.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
