Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their preferences and needs
- Provide detailed product knowledge, including strain types, effects, consumption methods, and dosing guidelines
- Educate customers on responsible use, legal regulations, and store policies to ensure safe transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales counter that showcases available products effectively
- Process sales accurately using point-of-sale systems while verifying age and legal compliance
- Stay informed about new product arrivals, industry trends, and promotional offers to enhance customer engagement
- Uphold all health and safety standards, including proper handling of products and adherence to regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse customers clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, or related industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently
- Must be at least the 21 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends,evenings and holidays if needed
