Job Title : Target Account Operations Associate
Responsibilities
- Target Account Operations
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Target business.
- Coordinate purchase orders, replenishment, item maintenance, and promotional execution.
- Monitor inventory availability and proactively identify operational issues.
- Assist in new item launches, assortment updates, and promotional planning.
- Maintain accurate account documentation and operational trackers.
- Inventory & Forecast Support
- Support inventory forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Monitor inventory levels across Target distribution centers and warehouse locations.
- Identify inventory risks and communicate recommendations to internal teams.
- Assist with demand planning and inventory reporting.
- SPS Commerce & EDI
- Process and monitor purchase orders, ASNs, invoices, and EDI transactions through SPS Commerce.
- Resolve transaction discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate retailer documentation and compliance.
- Logistics Coordination
- Work closely with Muskat’s third-party logistics (3PL) partner in California.
- Coordinate inbound shipments, outbound deliveries, inventory transfers, and shipping schedules.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and communicate shipment issues proactively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate daily with Muskat headquarters in Korea regarding:
- ○ Inventory planning
- ○ Production schedules
- ○ Product launches
- ○ Promotional calendars
- ○ Retail execution
- Communicate effectively across multiple time zones to ensure smooth account operations.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare weekly sales, inventory, and operational reports.
- Monitor inventory health, fill rates, and key operational KPIs.
- Support ad hoc reporting and business analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting large U.S. retailers (Target experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SPS Commerce and EDI transactions.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience supporting retail operations including SPS Commerce, EDI transactions, inventory management, and purchase order execution, is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting Ulta Beauty, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or other national retailers.
- Experience with inventory planning or demand forecasting.
- Experience working with overseas suppliers or global teams.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Success in This Role
You will be expected to:
- Independently manage day-to-day Target account operations.
- Accurately process SPS Commerce transactions with minimal supervision.
- Develop a strong understanding of Muskat’s brand portfolio and Target’s operational requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with our Korea headquarters and California 3PL partner.
- Maintain accurate inventory reporting and forecasting support.
- Demonstrate exceptional ownership, accuracy, responsiveness, and execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
