Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for vehicle maintenance. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential oil changes and routine maintenance services, ensuring that vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on various types of vehicles.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance services, including filter replacements and fluid top-offs.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Assist in diagnosing automotive issues and recommending appropriate services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate with service technicians regarding any observed vehicle concerns or necessary repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive service is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and equipment related to vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle servicing tasks.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
